I was mind-blown by the free upgrade to a super spacious female-only room! The cleanliness of the room and bathroom left me jaw-dropped, and the big lockers were a bonus. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the city centre and right in front of the beach. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and with immense patience, helping us book a shuttle to the airport. The staff's accommodating nature was super, allowing us to leave our key in the key box and our car in the car park for a few extra hours. The free wi-fi, car park, electric kettle, cookware, and flat-screen TV were all fantastic additions to our stay. I highly recommend this place, especially for families.

I had a really great stay at a hostel in Paihia recently. The common area had plenty of comfortable couches to relax on, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked with new plates and cups, making it easy to prepare meals. Despite being low season, the staff, Lenka and her husband, were extremely helpful and gave us some fantastic tips for exploring the area.

During my Christmas stay in this hostel, I enjoyed the spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. Each bed had its own reading light, which was a nice touch. The location of the hostel was also great, just a short walk from the town center and near to a supermarket. they offered bicycles for free, which was a great way to explore the area.
The only negative thing I noticed during my stay was that the hostel lacked curtains on the windows, which meant that the room got light early in the morning. , as the hostel was located next to a bar, it could be quite noisy at night.

The location was perfect, with bars and the beach very close. On rainy days, we took advantage of the huge selection of movies in the library. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with lots of cupboards, a fridge, and a TV. the bathroom was large, and the lodge had excellent facilities, including a lounge and kitchen, and laundry. the terrace was great for relaxing and socializing.
Some of the guests were noisy and didn't adhere to the quiet hours on the veranda, especially during the late nights.

The rooms at Saltwater Lodge Backpackers are amazing! They have their own en-suite bathroom which is so convenient. The bedding is top quality and oh so comfy. And can we talk about the heating? It keeps you nice and toasty, perfect for the chilly winter nights. Plus, having direct access to a large balcony from your room is just the cherry on top. It's like having your own little summer paradise!
Personally, I found the TV in the room to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion.

During our recent stay, this hotel fulfilled all our luxurious needs. the room was spacious and equipped with exclusive amenities, such as a large TV, comfortable bed with fluffy pillows, en-suite bathroom, and a fully stocked fridge and microwave. the location advantages were also a plus, with easy access to local boat rides and museums. the on-site covered parking and discount vouchers provided by the reception were extremely useful. The service was great, with friendly staff available to assist with any inquiries. Cons: Despite the luxurious room and amenities, we experienced a minor issue with the water temperature in the shower, which could have been warmer.
